Hey, I’m Sierra! I’m in my fourth year of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. Upon graduation, I’d like to pursue my master’s to become a registered psychotherapist! My passion for mental health and desire to help others presented a wide range of career paths, but my personal and lived experiences led me to psychotherapy! I feel that I’ve grown so much as a person throughout my mental health journey, and although it was scary to start, it was 100% worth it. I’d love to support you in taking the first step in starting your journey—you are not alone!

I like to create a space where you feel safe & comfortable sharing what’s on your mind so we can work together to create a suitable plan. At the end of our consultation, I want you to feel confident in yourself and excited to start your mental health journey!

What happens in a consultation?!

We’ll start by determining what you’d like to work on in therapy and what’s brought you here! We just need a general idea of the topics for exploration and areas you’d like to focus on in therapy.

We’ll chat a bit about your day-to-day life, what you do and who you are. Finding the right therapist includes finding the right personality fit, so don’t be scared to let your personality shine!

Whether you’ve been to therapy before or this is your first time, if you have any preferences about what type of therapist you want or what you might be specifically looking for, we’ll take note. No idea what you want or need? Don’t worry! No preferences required 🙂

We’ll spend some time discussing the practical aspects of therapy such as your availability, booking information and of course financial aspects of therapy such as prices, payments & benefits coverage.

Last but certainly not least, the consultation offers an opportunity for you to ask us any questions you may have about virtual/telephone therapy at Rebound, the process of getting started or anything you’re uncertain of!
