Khatiza Bi Bi

MACP, RP Registered Psychotherapist

MACP, RP and Independent Contractor at Rebound Total Health. From a young age I liked listening to people’s stories and try to gain deeper understanding of them as an individual. I knew psychotherapy would be a career for me since I enjoy helping people, listening to people, and working with them to come up with solutions to help resolve problems. We all deserve to live a fulfilling life and sometimes road-blocks come up making it challenging to be our best self. With the right support and tools we can find ways to navigate through those road blocks and build a life that is worth living.

Are your thoughts taking control? Not feeling yourself? Experienced something tough recently that you can’t seem to get past? Going through family struggles, relationship conflict or communication breakdown? Or are you looking for help for a child or teen? Sometimes life struggles can become roadblocks that prevent us from working towards our goals and living our best, most fulfilling lives. As a therapist, I want to help you work through those roadblocks. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space to help you work through struggles, achieve your goals and get back to a fulfilling, meaningful life. I’m here to help you navigate these roadblocks.

Working with me

One should not feel scared or intimidated to seek counselling! My goal is to provide you with a safe environment to explore your vulnerabilities and express those difficult emotions. Together we can process those emotions and develop a plan to manage them.

Worth mentioning

As clients decide who they want to work with for counselling, there’s lots to take into consideration! Here are some additional perks you should know of!

I know that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. With extensive training in a variety of approaches, I draw on multiple different approaches based on the unique needs of each client. Something not working for you? Let’s switch it up!

Developing a good therapeutic rapport is one of the critical components of therapy. My goal is to create comfortable atmosphere to help you feel relaxed and light after the session.

Offering evening sessions, my hope is to suit the needs of your busy schedule! With an online booking system, clients have the ability to book in with a time that works for them. Don’t care to book yourself? Don’t worry – clients can book with me directly following your session, or email to book!

What does a session with me look like?

It is difficult to seek counselling and even more challenging to discuss our problems with someone we just met! My hope is to provide you with a non-judgmental, safe, empathic environment to openly discuss your challenges without being held back by shame and guilt. In session, I’ll meet you where you’re at. I’ll listen, laugh with you, empathize, explore with you & work alongside you to develop a plan to reach your goals.

My approach

My approach to counselling is to create a non-judgemental environment to help you feel safe and comfortable when exploring your challenges. I do not believe in fixing people, no one is broken, we are shaped and influenced by our life experiences. I also believe that we have our strengths that we can use to persevere through toughest challenges in our life. We all have strengths, we just need to find out what they are and how to use them to cope.
